Catherine Rose Heller is a Brooklyn based artist concentrating in drawing, painting, and graphic illustration. She often mixes mediums and works with recycled materials to demonstrate the complexity and worth in all things. Catherine studied at Skidmore College and the Studio Arts College International in Italy. She received her BS degree in Studio Art with a minor in Arts Administration in 2017, graduating with honors.
Since completing school, Catherine has worked for the Shakespeare Opera Theatre in Virginia on a traveling production of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" as the Scenic Designer, Paint Charge, & Assistant Stage Manager. She has taught at the One River School of Art & Design as a Teaching Artist, and worked as a Marketing Associate for the art gallery ILIAD New York.
Catherine has shown her work in both national and international exhibitions. Most recently, she has exhibited in "Art Loop Fine Art Expo" in the Lower East Side, "Trash’s Art" in Brooklyn, and "Listen" at the Bowery Union.
